IMPORTS & EXPORTS OPERATIONS
Mainfreight Air & Ocean Houston TX
Are you looking for a challenging role that will stretch you?
We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our dynamic A&O team in Houston. We need 3 people!!!
This is an opportunity to join a successful team in a branch that is pushing for a dramatic growth within Mainfreight Americas and the Houston market.
Main tasks include but are not limited to:
* Provide Operational excellence to our customers.
* Liaising & booking with our global team and overseas partners.
* Manage and grow relationships with carriers and local service providers.
* Process export air and ocean shipments from A to Z: request quotes, place bookings, complete documentation, track shipments, alert and follow up customers, organizing deliveries, invoicing, etc.
* Help implement new accounts, streamline existing accounts, and find ways to always delight our customers.
* Handling queries and complaints
* Responsible for managing and exceed all KPIs as well as helping with the growth of the department, increase revenue and margin.
You must have:
* A passion for freight and customer service.
* Blue Blood understand our Mainfreight values and implement them in our day to day operations.
* Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
* Great time management and organization skills.
* Exceptional customer service skills
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.

* Self-motivated
* Have an eye for detail
* Not afraid of hard work or extended hours
* Previous experience not a necessity in-house training provided
* CargoWise experience a plus!
