The Senior Manager Shopper Marketing is responsible for leading the development of shopper marketing strategies and execution of programs that complement brand & retailer objectives and in turn drive purchase intent for Sanofi Consumer Healthcare Brands at key retailers. This individual is accountable for the creation of agency briefs, creative, program budget & tactics, post-program analysis as well as identifying competitive in-market programs and trends. This individual will work cross-functionally with sales, brand marketing, integrated marketing, shopper insights, omni-channel team and sales strategy to execute against and achieve company KPIs.

**Responsibilities:**

Develops all components of Shopper Marketing platforms, strategies and programs including shopper insight driven concepts, customer program objectives, P&L forecast, creative brief, agency briefing, program tactic approval, estimate approval, budget reconciliation and program recaps.

* Shopper Marketing leader within Sanofi HQ optimizing our ways of working across field sales, brand marketing, integrated marketing, sales strategy, omni-channel team

* Partner with Sales Strategy and Brand Marketing to identify relevant Shopper Insights as platforms for customer executions

* Develop, sell-in and implement insight-driven shopper marketing strategies and platforms that drive volume and profit and a point of difference for Sanofi and our customers.

* Leads shopper marketing input into brand experience planning and inter agency team processes

* Manages Agency partners and their scope of work to ensure successful execution of Shopper Marketing programs achieving forecasted objectives in alignment with the budget.

* Works closely with Brand Marketing and Marketing Operations team to coordinate national and customer specific activity minimizing duplication of spend and maximizing efficiency.

* Collaborates with Field Sales, Sales Strategy and Visual merchandising teams to ensure Shopper Marketing programs are aligned to drive visibility in-store.

* Engages with Brand teams for Shopper Marketing budgeting and plan needs during Annual Planning Process.

* Accountable for delivering program financial KPIs and managing brand specific Shopper Marketing Budgets.

* Complete program evaluation/score-carding of programs

* Identify, develop and share best practices for Shopper Marketing across brands and customer teams

* Reviews and approves executional elements (artwork, etc) for shopper marketing programs.

* Identifies and Executes appropriate Test & Learn Opportunities for the organization as we work to develop forward thinking strategies and tactics. Provide insights and tactic evaluation to expand into new channels.

* Develop and Drive creation of key multi-branded Shopper Marketing activations for use nationally as sales drive periods and customize for key customer integration

* Responsible for helping to build and enhance customer/brand Shopper Segmentation to identify best fit for Shopper Marketing investment by brand

* Responsible for developing any Shopper Marketing Awards submissions (Effies, Reggies, Design of the Times) where applicable

**Requirements:**

* Ability to travel up to 30%

* 7-10 years experience working for a consumer packaged goods (CPG) company

* Bachelors degree required from an accredited 4-year college or university.

* 2-5 years of Customer management and/or Field Sales position required

* Minimum 2 years of Brand, Integrated Marketing, Retail Media, Shopper Marketing and/or Field Marketing experience a strong plus

* MBA degree a strong plus

* Prior agency management experience is a plus

* Previous experience working across Digital Media and Ecommerce a plus

* Experience working with Nielsen data and data analysis a plus

* Proven ability to multi-task and organize the management of co-marketing/consumer promotion execution.

* High energy, strong communication, and interpersonal skills to function effectively in a team environment.

* Commitment to results; ability to incorporate new learning into existing plans and act decisively.

* Strong project management skills

* Strong ability to work in teams and build good working relationships

* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
