The Position
We are seeking someone passionate about quality design and enthusiastic about helping our clients realize their dreams. Providing exceptional experience is a given. Designers work with homeowners and builders, designing and selling kitchens and baths. Successful designers at CKB can build relationships, create designs that bring the clients' desires to life, and have the attention to detail to see the project through to the end.
Sales and Design Responsibilities:
- Acquire and Manage Lead Opportunities
- Utilize CRM to maintain communications with leads
- Maintain relationships with contractors
- Meet with homeowners and builders to assess needs
- Ability to accurately measure job sites and read blueprints
- Create functional designs using 2020 software
- Ability to specify products based on desires and budget
- Develop and present design and proposal
- Ability to manage projects with homeowners and subcontractors
- Participate in continuing education
- Ability to manage many projects at one time.
- Set and meet Annual Sales Goals
- Engage in monthly Sales, Vendor and Design Continuing Education
- Attend Networking events
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum two years of kitchen and bath design experience
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Sales experience
- Knowledge of Kitchen and Bath materials
- Excellent customer service.
- Experience with 2020 Design Software or similar software
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- Personable and able to develop relationships
- Ability to read a tape measure and blueprints accurately
- Ability to work independently
- Team player
- Associate or Bachelor's Degree (preferred, not required)
- Results-driven
- Good driving record
