Seeking a Commercial Litigation Attorney for top caliber midsize law firm. You will handle complex commercial disputes and litigation matters. This role involves representing clients in court and arbitration, managing cases from inception to resolution, and collaborating with a team of experienced attorneys. You will be responsible for providing high-quality legal counsel, conducting discovery, and representing clients in trial proceedings.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a diverse caseload of commercial litigation matters
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other court documents
- Engage in discovery, including depositions, document review, and interrogatories
- Represent clients in court hearings, trials, mediations, and arbitrations
- Negotiate settlements and draft settlement agreements
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Licensed to practice law in the state of Florida
- Minimum 3 years of experience inside of commercial litigation
- Strong understanding of commercial litigation procedures and business law
- Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills
