**System Automation Support Specialist - Payroll**

The **System Automation Support Specialist - Payroll** is responsible for improving operational efficiencies and providing systems support to clients of BlueStar/Ameritas. This position will help assist new clients who want to automate data exchanges in their payroll process and are a key resource for other payroll personnel and payroll conversions in the business.

**Key Areas of Responsibility**

* Identify inefficient operational areas and areas lacking sufficient controls and then develop and implement process improvements

* Manage on-going process improvements until such projects are ready to be handed back to "normal operations"

* Provide technical support internal users for internal systems like Relius, PlanConnect, Relius, Crystal, Adobe products, and JeffNet

* Develop and support integrations with third parties including advisors and payroll companies

* Provide support for Development Team by specifying requirements for and business objectives for new programming initiatives and by thoroughly testing new releases

* Create and maintain BluePrism automation processes

* Manage system and process audits conducted for CEFEX certification and SOC 1 and 2 audits

* Identify and analyze new software systems to enhance internal operations

* Strong verbal and written communication skills

**Required Skills**

* 3 or more years of experience of prior experience

* Experience in SQL, Crystal Reports, STATA is preferred

* Ability to utilize office equipment such as computers, phones and photocopiers throughout the work day

* Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities

Ability to manage data and process financial transactions with a high degree of accuracy
