**Job Description:**
ARDEX Americas (), is the Global industry leader in the manufacturing and development of high-performance specialty building materials.
We are immediately hiring for a **SALES PROFESSIONAL** **,** with experience of **TILE AND STONE INSTALLATION SYSTEM**S, as part of our Pacific Northwest Team (States of Washington, Alaska, Oregon, Montana and Idaho), with a preferred home-office base of **SEATTLE**.
The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, experienced sales and business developer with a proven track record of developing and delivering new sales business opportunities with commercial contractors, installers, architects and distributor partners.
Approximately 25-40% travel including occasional overnight.
**Responsibilities:**
* Drive, develop, promote and grow sales of ARDEX products and systems throughout territory
* Develop and maintain solid working relationships with distributors, contractors, specifiers and other key business influencers
* Retain current accounts and prospect new business development
* Successfully launch and promote new products via hands on product demonstrations, presentations & professional product displays
* Collaborate with Corporate resources such Technical, Customer Service, Marketing, Logistics etc., to deliver exceptional standards of service to ARDEX customers
* Drive lead generation through jobsite visits, lead generation services, cold calls etc.
* Develop and successfully execute field sales action plans
* Achieve and exceed targets, goals and objectives, as established with Sales Manager
* Represent ARDEX as an industry leader through exceptional professional standards, and a 'customer first' approach.
**Experience and Skills:**
* Minimum 5 years outside sales experience is essential
* Demonstrable experience of Tile and Stone Installation Systems is essential (thin sets, sub floor preparation, cement & epoxy grouts, under tile waterproofing, commercial & residential). Tile and stone installation experience is desirable
* Confident and professional presenter
* Able to operate non power and power tools. Demonstrates good mechanical or hands-on skills to meet the needs of intensive and physically demanding field support and service
* Technically proficient: familiar with architectural specifications and construction design elements
* High level of energy and enthusiasm for the business. Customer-driven and professional
* Self-starter. Able to use initiative, work and adapt to a fast paced and changing market
* Able to make sound business decisions, influence, be assertive and close a sale

* Proficient in digital systems including CRM systems
* Valid drivers license and a clean driving record. Must be able to travel throughout assigned territory as per advertised amounts, including some overnight
* Able to lift to 70 pounds (on occasion) with a carrying capability of 55 pounds
**Education:**
* College degree preferred or, minimum high school diploma /GED and industry related experience
