Job Details

  • Base Salary Range: $47,000 - $50,000
  • Commission Range: $30,000 - 36,000
  • Performance Bonus: Up to $3,600
  • Employee Appreciation Bonus: Up to $2,000
  • Total Comp: Up to $92K

GENERAL POWER is a Miami, Florida-based OEM, master distributor and authorized dealer specializing in the worldwide sale of premium quality products for the power generation industry. We specialize in the worldwide sale of 10 to 1,000 kW gas and diesel generators for standby and mobile/prime applications.


Our primary goal is to consistently provide available and reliable products to ensure our customers' operation runs uninterrupted; all while providing a meaningful customer experience. We make the world more productive by delivering reliable components efficiently that keep our industry moving!



Who You Are



As a Generator Sales Specialist, you are a proactive and highly motivated sales professional who is skilled at uncovering customers' needs and providing meaningful product solutions. You will collaborate with the Sales Team and strive to achieve team objectives. This role is the perfect opportunity to excel in a collaborative environment.


Our team is composed of (6) highly motivated individuals whose personal strengths work in synergy to achieve goals and creatively solve challenges that may arise along the sales process.

How You'll Contribute


Responsibilities and Expectations:


  • Master our product line and stock lists to maximize sales opportunities and improve e lead-to-invoice ratio
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve and exceed the required results
  • Successfully manage lead cycle (qualification, quoting, closing, and after-sales support)
  • Actively identify promising leads (in addition to those generated by our aggressive marketing strategy)
  • Manage customer relationships and ensure efficiency of order processing and customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with the sales team to maximize profit by up-selling or cross-selling
  • Resolve challenges by assessing problems and developing creative solutions
  • Master our product line in order to take advantage of product redundancy
  • Collaborate with your team members to optimize workflow efficiency, minimizing turnaround times for team objectives and tasks


What We re Looking for


Minimum Qualifications/Skills


  • Minimum of 3-4 years of Sales experience
  • Excellent verbal and written English
  • The ability to manage a high volume of work in a dynamic fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency
  • Basic computer literacy and skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Competitive nature and a will to succeed in a target-driven environment
  • Ability to identify and solve challenges that teammates & clients are facing
  • Excellent interpersonal communication
  • Excellent time-management, strategic planning, and organizational skills
  • Ability to thrive being part of a small team
