Pay Rate: $23.90/hr to $24.90/hr

Job Description:

Why is this open:

• The hiring manager is taking over the sourcing for the shipping teams under his boss. They need to hire more people to help with the increase of production so they're hiring 2 green and 1 blue

Mission:

• Ensure that all the shipments (both domestic and international) are delivered and shipped on time so that production can be kept on schedule.

Day to Day:

• Coordinating with vendors/shipping
• Shipping things domestic/international
• Coordinating across multiple teams
• Loading trucks
• Building crates
• Very ambiguous
• Physical/WH: 75%, 25% admin
• Stand, stoop, squat, use of latters, able to lift
• Pallet jack, dolly's, electric pallet jacks

Must Have:

• Manufacturing Shipping experience (anything from receiving)
• Receiving experience
• Understanding process of shipping
• oInteraction with manufacturing team
• How to look at something that needs to be shipped
• Ex. ability to build a crate
• WH experience
• Organization
• Excel, quip
• Admin skills
• Years: 2-3 experience

Plusses:

• If they've been ON a manufacturing team/come from a manufacturing company that's great

Leadership principles:

• Ownership
• Invent & simplify.
• Bias for action - showing that urgency.
