Overview:

Our Facilities Clerk works with various departments in partnership with our Security & Adminstratrive Services Manager. Our goal is to provide our staff with timely maintenance services, ensure for a smooth operation of UWCU's mailroom, courier, and record retention.

Responsibilities:

What You'll Do:

  • Accurately sort and distribute inter-departmental mail
  • Process all daily in and out-bound mail
  • Assist in investigating any claims of undelivered or misrouted mail
  • Be a resource to other departments in determining the most cost effective means of mailing packages
  • Facilitate all conference room reservations including setup & takedown of any required furniture and managing reservation
  • Function as the lead point of contact to address and resolve any mail, courier, or records related issues or requests both internally and with outside vendors.
  • Routinely review mailroom prcedures for accuracy as well as identify areas for improvement. Make all necessary corrections or proposals as needed annd ensure implementation of any changes
  • Scan and check quality/reliability of scanner records.
  • Process all inter-departmental records requests to include teller work, signature cards and archived records.
  • Properly label/identify record boxes for proper acrchival storage, providing information for location, description, department, and retention/destroy dates if applicable.
  • Deliver equipment and supplies as needed throughout 3500 and other branch locations using the UWCU-supplied vehicle.
  • Distribute copy paper to copier and printer stations as needed.
  • Assist in monitoring buildings and grounds to ensure that all areas are clean, safe, and fully operational.
  • Assist with workstation or office moves


Qualifications:

What Youll Need to Succeed

These skills and experiences are essential to your success:

  • High School diploma or equivalency is required.
  • One-year previous office experience preferred.
  • Ability to use and navigate through the following applications; Microsoft Office products, a company
  • Intranet, scanning software, and the Internet
  • Ability to file both alphabetically and numerically
  • Attention to detail is required
  • Must be able to use folder/inserter and other mailing equipment.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Must possess a valid State of Wisconsin drivers license and be able to drive a company vehicle
