JOB OVERVIEW:
CareGivers is looking for an outstanding, career-minded Personal Care Aide, HHA, or CNA to join ourDesignated Aide Team. In this position, you would be exclusively working Chautauqua County OFA casework in your territory primarily Dunkirk & Fredonia, but some cases may be in the Brocton area. You would be guaranteed18 hours a week, those hours would be weekday daytime hours (between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm), we would work with you to get a schedule that fits your availability.
Areliable vehicle and valid drivers license are required for this position this is not optional.You will be visiting multiple clients 2 to 3 hours per client and you may need to run errands or do shopping for some clients. You will be paid for travel time between clients which is included in your 18 hours/week. You will also be paid mileage in between clients, and for any errands or shopping you do for clients.

Enhanced rates offered for this position,$19.00 $19.50 / hour(depending on experience & reliability). We are looking for someone who isreliable, punctual, dedicated, and compassionate these are essential traits for this position.
*If you have had at least 3 months of previous caregiving experience in the last three years, you may qualify to become a PCA through our free one-day alternative competency training class.
**If loss of hours is due to staff missing or being late for a scheduled shift, the 18 hour a week guarantee would not apply

JOB DUTIES:Responsible for providing personal care and supportive services which may include (but are not limited to) assisting the client in activities of daily living, providing light housekeeping services to maintain a clean and safe environment for the client, and making sure they follow their medication schedule.
+ Must be a certified PCA*, HHA, or CNA
+ Will transition CNA to HHA with a free one-day class
+ Qualified nursing students can work for us as HHAs ask us how!
+ If you have had at least 3 months of previous caregiving experience in the last three years, you may qualify to become a PCA through our free one-day alternative competency training class. Ask us how!
+ Must be caring, dependable, & must meet health requirements
+ Reliable vehicle and valid drivers license* required you must be able to drive from client to client, this is not optional.(*clean no major violations)
