HR Specialist
Our client is locally owned and operated and has grown into a regional and national industrial equipment supplier. They provide a combination of value-added technical services, engineering, consultation, and quality products to a variety of markets. They provide mission-critical equipment to a wide variety of industries.
Summary
The HR Specialist is an entry level position with opportunity for growth in a rapidly growing company in the NW. They would be responsible for supporting the day-to-day procedures and processes assigned by the HR Manager in conjunction with the HR/Payroll team from the corporate level which includes benefits liaison for our employees and our benefit providers, HR/Payroll projects, as well as being a back up to our payroll function and other administrative duties as assigned.
Essential Job Duties
- Responsible for the document controls and electronic distribution of personnel files for all active and terminated employees.
- Assist the HR/Payroll team on projects - implementation of a new HRIS system; learning system; leave programs etc.
- Back-up for processes and procedures within the HR/Payroll function - responsible for the manual check process from the corporate office.
- Benefits liaison for employees and benefit providers
- Assist employees on time-entry and use of the HRIS system
Qualifications- Minimum two years of experience in a payroll, accounting or human resources functional role
- Organized and excellent time management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Customer service attitude
- Works well in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or human resources
- Experience in implementing an ERP/Payroll/HRIS system
Pay: Up to $26/hr depending on skills and qualifications
