**Job Description**

Variable Hours - maximum caseload - 15 apprentices

Based at Central Campus, Brighton

We are seeking to appoint a Variable Caseload Skills Coach/Assessor who can engage with learners studying Hospitality and Catering and inspire them to achieve their potential in line with College and Awarding Body procedures.

Maintaining a caseload of students (maximum number 15), you will be delivering skills coaching, support and learner assessments for the Hospitality and Catering apprenticeship programmes also delivering Functional Skills support to ensure learners achieve the level of competence required.

You will require effective working knowledge of the Apprenticeship programme with experience of assessing, internal verification and work based delivery models. You should have a customer-focused attitude with strong communication and IT skills.

Along with Hospitality and Catering qualifications at level 3 and above, you should hold both assessor and IQA qualifications and GCSE English & Maths (at grade C or above, or equivalent), also Level 2 Functional Skills (or working towards).
