Essential Functions

A Ziegenfelder Maintenance Associate is responsible for:

Monitor and maintain specific gravity of brine for all lines during the shift.

Ensure fresh brine is made daily and tanks full at the end of each shift.

Complete entire walk-thru of Brine system; including piping minimum 2 times per day.

Ensure no leaks are present during shift walk-thru and if found is properly communicated.

Properly set up and clean Brine mixing area daily.

Assist with plant and grounds upkeep.

Support other related work assignments as directed by the Maintenance Manager.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

High School/GED required or related experience.

Must be able to follow directions carefully to ensure quality product.

Comfortable working independently.

Excellent communication skills.

Physical Abilities

Standing up to 8+ hours per day.

Moving and lifting objects weighing up to 50lbs. regularly.

Bending, twisting, reaching and grasping actions.

Good spatial awareness working around manufacturing equipment.

Working Conditions

May be subject to noise above 85 decibels with proper protection equipment.

May be subject to cold temperatures of less than 32F with proper protective equipment.
