Summary

The Facility Maintenance Supervisor is a skilled professional, responsible for coordinating installation, maintenance, and repair work in the facility. The Maintenance supervisor acts as the central point of coordination for all maintenance activities. They will oversee the work carried out by maintenance technicians, facility specialists, and contractors.


Description

  • Develop maintenance and repair plans for facilities and equipment while supervising the implementation to ensure normal equipment operation.
  • Organize power safety training for the facility team to ensure safety.
  • Organize the preparation of SOP documents and establish operational standards.
  • Identify training needs for maintenance technicians and provide necessary training to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Implement hazard identification and safety risk assessment.
  • Monitor inventory of materials and equipment.
  • Regularly inspect and maintain manufacturing machinery, tools, and equipment to ensure they are in proper working condition.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, including work orders and maintenance history.
  • Inspect and maintain building systems (heating, ventilation, etc.)
  • Ensure safe work practices are followed.
  • Oversee maintenance ticketing system to ensure work orders are completed in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance services or major repairs.
  • Coordinate all weekly tasks according to the work schedule of team and urgency.


Requirements

  • Associates degree in a technical field.
  • Five plus years of work experience as a maintenance supervisor in an industrial environment is preferred.
  • Experience in high volume manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient understanding of mechanical, electrical
  • Professional certification (e.g., HVAC certified) is preferred.
  • Strong technical knowledge of all building systems (electrical, heating, etc).
  • Proficient working knowledge in Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, and bend for extended periods during shift.
  • Ability to work rotating schedule on night shift.
