Responsibilities

• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route destinations, parking, break periods, etc.) as well as with company policies.
• Pickup and deliver goods as required.
• Inspect trucks to ensure working conditions of brakes, lights, wipers, windshield, fire extinguisher, flares and other safety equipment in the truck.
• Ensure that cargo is well secured.
• Maintain a log of the condition of the truck, and any cases of accidents.
• At the end of the journey handover records of deliveries, receipts, payments, mechanical problems, etc.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL
• Current Medical Card
• Clean driving record
• Minimum of two years related experience
• Flexible availability. Trips Vary- mostly same day trips
• Some heavy lifting required
• Prefer experience with large over-sized loads
• Great customer service
