DAIS Customer Solution Engineering AI reshapes not only computing, but also business and society, Intel is making major bets on the future of AI and particularly in data center computing. Intel's Datacenter and AI Solutions (DAIS) organization is a critical part of Intel boarder AI efforts. Our DAIS responsibility spans data center workloads from generative AI and deep learning to analytics, HPC, and graphics - all of which are intertwined in the future of computing.

We are looking for experienced junior DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) Engineers to support our Datacenter automation development. In this role, you will develop and employ continuous integration and deployment in support of our evolving deployment processes. You will engage with the SW Development Engineers to build and maintain a seamless development flow and tackle large scale optimization challenges.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills in addition to the qualifications listed below:

  • Knowledge of networking and DNS.
  • Proven scripting knowledge (Bash, Python).
  • Willingness to build and maintain the necessary infrastructure.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Creativity and a passion for continuous learning.
Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

You must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum qualifications and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field of study and 1+ years of relevant experience.
  • 1+ years' experience implementing DevOps processes, practices, and an ability to build and maintain the necessary infrastructure.
  • 1+ years' experience developing and writing CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Github, Artifactory).
  • 1+ years experience with development and deployment on Linux.
  • 1+ years experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • 1+ years of experience with infrastructure automation frameworks (Terraform, CloudFormation, Python).
  • 1+ year of experience with infrastructure monitoring solutions (Prometheus, Grafana).

Additional Preferred Qualifications

  • Network automation experience.
  • Experience in the use of configuration management automation tools such as Puppet, Chef, Salt Server in creating continuous delivery and configuration management systems.
  • Experience with ELK or other monitoring, dashboarding and alerting tools.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in

US, California:$91,500.00-$137,436.00

Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
