SUMMARY OF DUTIES:

Acts as a lead worker and is responsible for diagnostics, scheduling, coordinating, and maintenance repairs of the city's water and wastewater systems.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • One (1) year experience in the operation and maintenance of water and wastewater systems.
  • Backhoe operator experience is required.
  • Valid Texas Driver's License (Class C). Must obtain (class B) within 6 months and (class A) within 1 year.
  • TCEQ Class C distribution desired or should be obtained within 3 years of employment.
  • TCEQ Class II wastewater collection license desired or should be obtained within 4 years of employment
