Job Title: Commercial Construction Superintendent
Office Location: Tri-Cities, WA
(Candidates from Central WA / Eastern OR are encouraged to apply)
Pay Range Estimate: $100-120k per year (plus additional incentives)

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent with a minimum of 10 years in the industry to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing and overseeing commercial construction projects from inception to completion, demonstrating exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. The Commercial Construction Superintendent will play a critical role in ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise all aspects of commercial construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor coordination, and quality control.
- Oversee and ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols on the construction site.
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop and execute project plans.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Communicate effectively with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure project milestones are met and resources are allocated efficiently.
- Manage and resolve conflicts or disputes that may arise during the construction process, maintaining a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
- Review and approve change orders, RFIs, and other project documentation in a timely manner.
- Provide regular progress reports to senior management, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and areas for improvement.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, leading by example and motivating team members to achieve project goals.
- Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to continuously improve construction processes and outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred however experience can be substituted for education.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Commercial Construction Superintendent, with a proven track record of managing large-scale projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage and inspire multidisciplinary teams.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- OSHA 30-Hour certification and other relevant industry certifications preferred.
- Valid driver s license and willingness to travel to various job sites as needed.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines consistently.
