Job Details

Need 2 full time, temporary, seasonal Agricultural Equipment Operators to work in Borup, MN. From: 08/01/2024 - 12/15/2024 Work: 48 hrs./week, Mon.-Sat. 8 hrs./day. Only in Minnesota: overtime paid at the rate of 1.5 times the regular rate of pay for all hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week. Effective January 1st, 2024: ESST Law will apply. Must Apply By: 10/09/2024 JOB DUTIES: Operating tractors for fall tillage, rock picking, planting, and spraying for corn, soybeans, and wheat. Operating disk bine, rake, merger, tractor, trucks, and choppers for fall hay harvest. Operating combine, chopper, grain cart, trucks, and silage carts for fall harvest. Fall tillage work, scrapers, and rock picking. Daily maintenance and repair of equipment. Assisting with moving cattle from summer pasture to winter pasture and back to the farm for the fall. Assist with fence repair and maintenance and maintaining cattle health. Drive farm trucks within the ag exemption. Per state regulations, the employer is exempt from a commercial CDL requirement for farm trucking. No commercial or heavy truck driving is required. The employer will conduct post-hire random drug tests at no cost to the employee to enforce a drug-free workplace policy. Failing a drug test will result in termination. The employer will conduct post-hire criminal background checks at no cost to the employee and will not employ anyone with a felony/theft criminal background as required by the workplace safety policy and company hiring practices as allowed by law. Any conviction that will prevent you from maintaining a valid driver's license will result in termination. JOB REQUIREMENTS: (3) months experience; Class D Driver's License. Employer will conduct post-hire random drug tests. Failing a drug test will result in termination. EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance; employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts. Required tools and supplies provided free of charge by employer.
