HBB Pro Sales Group is a premier independent manufacturers representative firm specializing in HVAC/R and plumbing products.
The Sales Coordinator will work cooperatively with the HBB Pro Sales outside sales team-members, manufacturers, distribution partners, and contractor partners. In general, the position s goal is to utilize all resources to increase sales and maintain exceptional customer service.
Sales Duties:
- Generate new and repeat sales by providing product and technical information in a timely manner to new and existing customers
- Assist outside sales team with customer relations, sales, and technical support
- Understand basic function and technical aspects of all product lines
- Obtain accurate information from vendors relating to product availability, prices, discounts, and product information
- Proactively recommend items needed by customers to increase customer satisfaction and improve transaction profitability
- Increase sales and average order size by means of cross-selling, up-selling, add-on sales and offering promotional sale items
- Educate customers about terminology, features and benefits of products to improve product related sales and customer satisfaction
General Duties
- Always present a professional image to customers, vendors, and co-workers
- Provide a welcoming attitude and willingness to help them in every way possible
- Be a team player, working collectively to improve the overall success of the company
- Answer and return phone calls and emails in a timely manner
- Setup and maintain customer files
- Manage time effectively, meet personal goals and work effectively with sales reps
- Maintain computer proficiency with, but not limited to, all Microsoft Office applications and manufacturer online portals and product configurators
- Continually improve product line knowledge, including technical aspects
Customer Service Duties
- Accurately process customer transactions such as orders, quotes, or warranty claims
- Fill requests for catalogs, information, or samples
- Contact customers following sales to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and resolve any complaint
