Job Description
A day in the life:

You will be responsible for operating an automated fastener packaging machine from start to finish. This includes loading fasteners into the machine, operating the machine via touch screen, confirming weight of packages, labeling, and packing finished boxes into a master carton.

Physical Requirements:

This position involves frequent walking, pushing/pulling, repetitive bending, stooping, heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds), and occasional climbing on ladders.

Experience and Skills
Required Skills/Experience

- High School Diploma or GED

- Solid math, verbal, and written communication skills

- Computer literacy, with the ability to trouble shoot machine failure.

- Able to meet or exceed minimum efficiency levels and production standards.

- Able to work rapidly at a constant pace for the entire shift, in a fast-paced environment.

- Able to read, write, and communicate effectively as it relates to the job and to the safety regulations.

- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform the physical demands of this job

- Ability to work independently and within a team

- Warehouse experience is desired but not required

- Forklift experience is highly desirable

Job Benefits
Pay Information: Full Time Position: 40 Hours per week

  • Starting Pay: $18.00 per hour
  • Entire Pay Range: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
  • Discretionary Year End Bonus
