Accounting & Finance Interns gain real world experience and exposure to the private accounting sector by supporting many different departments, helping them carry out their business transactions and projects. Interns will be placed in one of the following segments for the summer: Cost Accounting, General Accounting, Tax, Internal Audit or Business Unit Finance! IT Interns will gain real world experience and exposure to the technology aspects of a manufacturing industry! Over the summer IT Interns will take a look at Infrastructure management, Data science and analytics, Web development and support, Cyber security and Business analysis and project management. Marketing Interns will gain real world experience for a Brand Management Marketing intern in our International, Meat Products, Grocery Products, Deli marketing and Foodservice Marketing divisions! Packaging Engineering Interns will have opportunities to gain knowledge of technical report preparation documenting test results. Interns will complete a research project providing experience in true packaging research and development! Our R&D (Research & Development) Intern will work closely with product development scientists on a wide variety of value-added food projects. (may require travel to other production facilities). Interns will gain experience and apply knowledge of food science to the product development process and learn to operate a wide variety of food processing equipment! To gain real world experience in the successful manufacturing of food products To gain real world experience by performing the duties of their full-time engineering counterparts, supervising maintenance personnel and directing the modification, improvement and installation of high-tech equipment in a manufacturing facility to maximize equipment and facility productivity at minimum cost To gain real world experience in the successful manufacturing of food products by performing the duties of their full time Quality and Control Process counterparts. This includes supporting management in the implementation of food safety and food quality processes and procedures. This internship position will work with the Category Development team on customer category assignments to develop category plans and strategies, which are consistent with marketing objectives, and customer needs. During the course of the internship, this individual will interact with individuals in a variety of job functions, including marketing, sales, retail operations, consumer insights, and syndicated data suppliers. **Manage Your Profile**
