Our 100+ employee-owners sell, service and support our equipment offerings to a variety of customers encompassing a 6-state midwestern territory. We are seeking an experienced and well-rounded Accounting Specialist to contribute to our long-standing history of successful growth and expansion.

Title: Accounting Specialist

Location: Fenton, MO (Headquarters)

Job Type: Full-Time (On-Site)

What You Will Do:
  • Reporting to the CFO, this position will be involved in all aspects of the accounting department and support our employee/family focused culture & brand promise to deliver exemplary customer service.
  • Accounts Payable, Auditing and Reconciliations (credit cards, expenses, suppliers, etc.)
  • Financial analysis and reporting
  • Payroll processing
  • Development and control of internal processes and procedures
  • Preparation and presentation of financial reports to senior management
  • Tax preparation, ESOP valuation and compliance
  • Staying updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in financial management
  • Support and back-up CFO in preparation of financial statements, cash management, budgeting, and forecasting

What you will bring:
  • 5+ years minimum experience in accounting, ideally with a mid-size company
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related degree preferred
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting standards
  • Solution driven, self-starter
  • Proficiency in Excel (Intermediate or better)
  • Ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills with proven leadership skills and a positive attitude
  • Analytical and Data-driven
  • Impeccable work ethic
