****Job Description:****

AriensCo Hospitality Group is seeking an Event Planner for Round Lake Farms, Stone Prairie, AriensCo Museum and other AriensCo affiliated properties and off-site corporate events. This position requires a service-oriented team player, who can independently yet effectively manage an array of tasks for multiple events of varying magnitude. This position requires a flexible work schedule to include nights and weekends.

**The Day to Day...**

+ Works with customers (corporate and social) to plan and implement events, providing exceptional customer service and meeting financial objectives.

+ Serves as the point of contact for customers post executed contract, maintaining regular communications in the process of detailing event requirements for food, beverage, seating and special requests; processes all associated billing.

+ Coordinates vendor procurement of services to meet event needs.

+ Provides onsite day-of management of events, including overall facility setup/tear down; preparation of all staff, contractors, and vendors who will be onsite; execute and monitor event details, acting quickly to resolve problems; and evaluate overall success of event.

+ Assists Sr. Manager, Event Operations .

+ Ensures adherence of all safety, sanitary, food handling/storage and alcohol beverage control policies.

+ Opens and closes all facilities ensuring buildings are secure and equipment is turned off.

+ Collaborates frequently with cross-functional departments that provide event support.

+ All other duties as assigned by the Sr. Manager, Event Operations .**The Qualifications...**

+ High school diploma or GED required

+ Bachelors degree preferred

+ Responsible Beverage Training Certificate or ability to complete the course within one month of hiring date.

+ 3+ years of relevant event planning experience.
