**Job Description **
As the Sales Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing all sales activities, including managing a small call center, field marketing representatives, and field sales representatives. You will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth, exceeding marketing, and sales goals, and fostering a positive and high-performing sales culture. To be successful in this position, the sales leader must be proactive, and solutions focus while maintaining accountability and commitment to Weed Man Knoxville.
**Key Responsibilities **
1. **Hiring and Training ** Recruit, hire, and train a team of motivated sales professionals, ensuring alignment with company values and standards. Develop (update and build upon) comprehensive training programs to equip team members with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
2. **On-the-Spot Coaching ** Provide ongoing coaching and support to sales team members, offering guidance and feedback to help them improve performance and achieve targets. Conduct regular performance reviews and implement corrective actions as needed.
3. **Tracking KPIs ** Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of sales efforts and identify areas for improvement. Utilize data-driven insights to make informed decisions and drive continuous optimization of sales strategies.
4. **Creating an Upbeat Environment ** Foster a positive and energetic work environment that motivates sales team members to excel. Lead by example and cultivate a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and positivity.
5. **Ensuring Compliance ** Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations. Uphold ethical standards and promote integrity in all sales activities.
6. **Exceed Sales Goals ** Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth. Collaborate with marketing teams to align sales efforts with overall marketing strategies and objectives.
7. **Customer Focus ** Maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction and retention, striving to exceed customer expectations and build long-term relationships.
8. Marketing & Sales Plan Structuring ** Build campaigns to market new leads, old prospects and current clients via social media, dialer and text software platforms to meet company goals.
**Qualifications **
- Bachelor s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred) or 3-5 years of industry experience as a sales leader leading a team of 5-10 people.
- Proven experience in sales leadership roles, preferably in the lawn care or landscaping industry.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated track record of driving sales performance and achieving targets.
- Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools such as excel.
- Proficiency in Dialer operating software.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
