**Position:** Housekeeper **Location:** Salem, MO
**Job Id:** 128 **# of Openings:** 1 **This is a seasonal position with the first date of employment to be in mid February 2022, and the last date estimated to be in late October 2022.** **Title:** Housekeeper
**Reports To:** Housekeeping Supervisor
**Department:** Lodging **Summary of Position:**
Provide excellent customer service to guest rooms and public areas in accordance with Quality Standards
**Responsibilities:**
* Follows detailed duties worksheet assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor
* Clean check-outs and stay-overs, including; changing sheets and towels, emptying trash, dusting, scrubbing, vacuuming and waxing according to procedures
* Report damaged or missing items to the Housekeeping Supervisor, turn in all lost and found items to Management
* Notify Management and Maintenance of any repairs
* Stock personal cart daily with cleaning supplies, guest supplies and linens, alert supervisor if supplies run low
* Unload cart of dirty linens and trash at end of shift
* Assist in the unloading of linens (delivered by truck) bi-weekly
* Weekly, monthly and quarterly cleaning projects as assigned
* Understand Companys ISO (Environmental & Quality) management systems, policies, goals, and initiatives and meet the specific responsibilities within these areas.
* Other duties per Duties Checklist and as assigned
**Position Requirements:**
* Attention to detail
* Must be able to work a variety of day, night, weekend, holiday shifts
* Ability to work independently
* Must be able to spend the majority of the day walking, twisting, bending, pushing and pulling
* Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and carry up to 25 lbs. with frequent bending, twisting and squatting required.
**Education and Experience:**
**Education:** High School Diploma or equivalent required
**Experience:** One (1) year of housekeeping experience preferred
Resort/National Park experience preferred
