**About the Opportunity**

Reporting to the Director, Donor Relations and Stewardship, the Manager, Scholarship Stewardship is responsible for creating meaningful and intentional experiences for scholarship donors and recipients. The position is responsible for planning and executing small and medium sized scholarship receptions, compiling the yearly student profile impact reports and managing the donor-funded scholarship recipient cohort.

The successful candidate for this position will have a passion for making connections and fostering relationships while conveying the impact that scholarships have on increasing access to DU. This person will be dedicated to creating an inclusive community that honors and serves all members. The candidate will have a high attention to detail and be experienced in working with a high-profile donor base.

**Essential Functions:**

*Engagement*

* Partnering with unit fundraisers, plan and execute unit scholarship receptions.

* Act as strategic liaison for 5-7 annual foundation scholarship receptions.

* Plan and execute multiple 1:1 scholarship meetings (virtual or in-person) throughout the year.

*Communication*

* Manage annual student profile impact report.

* In collaboration with the Director, Donor Relations and Stewardship design and implement communication calendar of regular scholarship stewardship touch points for donors and scholars.

* Provide regular updates to internal scholarship stakeholders and serve on committees pertaining to scholarship in preparation for the upcoming campaign.

*Campus Partnership*

* In partnership with the Assistant Director, Gift Fund Stewardship, plan and conduct the annual Scholarship Summit to encourage collaboration and alignment of scholarship record keeping, communication and management university wide.

*Scholarship Recipient Management*

* Maintain Canvas course of all scholarship recipients each year by meaningfully engaging scholars with the goal of creating community and building a culture of philanthropy.

* Act as main point of contact for any and all questions related to a students donor and their engagement with stewarding their scholarship donors.

* Provide content and opportunities for donor-funded scholarship recipients to promote a culture of gratitude and philanthropy.

**Required Qualifications**

* Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

* 2 years of donor/constituent/member relations experience.

**Preferred Qualifications**

* Graduate degree in related field.

* Experience working in a college or university setting, or in the nonprofit sector.

* Knowledge of Banner Advancement, Microsoft CRM, or other similar fundraising database.

**Work Schedule**

Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., some nights and weekends as required

**Salary Grade Number:**

The salary grade for the position is 8.

**Salary Range:**

The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $55,000.

The University of Denver has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what the University may pay for the position at the time of posting. The University may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal salary equity considerations, and available market information, but not based on a candidates sex or any other protected status.
