Job Details
Ideal candidate would have 3-7 years experience working on Technology designs including but not limited to Low Voltage Cabling and Audio-Visual System. Develop design drawings using BIM tools including but not limited to CAD, Revit and BIM360. Work with the production team in support of Engineers and Project Managers to develop drawings for low voltage, audio visual and security systems. Typical Duties: Working knowledge in AutoCAD, Revit and BIM360. Develop design drawings that include but not limited to floor plans, elevations, details and schedule. Working knowledge of Bluebeam, used to facilitate markups between team members. Available during regular business hours to meet and respond to the needs of clients and to be available to A staff, and as needed beyond regular business hours when necessary. Implement quality assurance procedures during design process (e.g., Design Criteria submission, Design Checklists, Interdisciplinary Coordination Schedules, etc.). Check all technical work for accuracy. Review technical content with other team members. Performs various calculations to determine sizing, quantities and placement of various elements. Review documents from clients and/or sub-contractors that may include technology standards, submittals, and product spec sheets. Performs submittal reviews and insures accurate, timely response to all construction RFI s. May visit project locations during construction to perform job walks for field verification and coordination and perform punch walks. Attends various project meetings as required. General Requirements: Strong communication and interpersonal skills will be needed to develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, architects, engineers, contractors, and other team members. Proficient with Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Revit and BIM360. Working knowledge and experience with MS Office and BIM Tools Proficient at working with clients and the architectural and MEP design teams. Proficient in developing details, schedules, and maintaining Revit families and libraries
