**Location: Miami Metropolitan Area**

**FLSA Status: Exempt**

The Dynalectric team, located in McLean, VA, provides key support for its electrical and mechanical companies throughout the US.

**Position Summary**

The IT System Administrator and Support Specialist position reports to the EMCOR Construction Services Vice President of Information Technology. The position will provide d ay-to-day IT support to several Operating Companies (OpCos) in the Miami Metropolitan Area.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**

Include the following. Other duties will likely be assigned.

Provide IT d ay-to-day support as needed to several Operating Companies (OpCos) in the Miami Metropolitan Area.

* Computer, software, printer, & mobile device inventory, setup, and maintenance

* Antivirus and patch management and monitoring for computer and server operating systems

* Provide basic Active Directory Users & Computers Support

* Backup maintenance and monitoring

* Provide end user help desk support

* Provide relevant education and training and create documentation for non-technical users

* Ensure that Corporate SOPs are met

* Work remotely and onsite at OpCos to perform IT projects and upgrades

* Manage mobile phones and tablets

* Perform other duties as assigned by VP of IT

**Position Requirements/Preferences**

* At least 5 years of professional experience working as a IT Specialist or in a similar role;

* High School Diploma or GED. Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or similar field from an accredited College/University preferred;

* Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Windows 10 Operating Systems Support;

* Understanding of Windows Server 2012 & 2016 & 2019 Operating Systems Support, Microsoft, Office 365, Microsoft Intune;

* Demonstrated knowledge of VMware 6.x, Quest Rapid Recovery or similar backup Technology;

* Experience using Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy;

* CompTIA A+ Certification preferred;

* Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) Certification preferred;

* Carbon Black or similar endpoint security technology preferred;

* Microsoft SCCM or similar configuration technology preferred;

* This position is based in the Miami Metropolitan Area and frequent travel in the Miami Metropolitan Area is required;

* Occasional travel outside of the Miami Metropolitan Area is required;

* Work hours are generally 40 hours per week but may flex based on business needs

**Physical Demands**

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; move within the office to meet with employees in their offices or conference room. This position requires ability to work at a computer (reading and keying) for extended periods of time. This role requires communicating verbally and in writing one on one, in small groups, as well as presenting to larger groups of employees. This position requires occasional lifting, moving, and exerting force of up to 50 pounds. Occasional bending, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and other related physical positions are also required. Occasional travel by car (as a passenger or driver) or by airplane.
