Laboratory Engineer/Scientist


Job Details

Follow all necessary laboratory chemical safety and biosafety rules as well as operation protocols.

Conduct studies to optimize reagent formulations and reaction conditions for immunoassays on automated IA analyzers.

Performing basic statistical data analysis for test results.

Troubleshooting and resolving instrumentation issues when they occur.


Job Qualifications:


Bachelor, or Master Degree, with 1-5 years relevant experience in Biochemistry, Medical Laboratory Technology, Biotechnology, Analytical Chemistry, Immunology, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, or other related field with hands on laboratory experience.

Previous experience in assay development or clinical laboratory is preferred.

ASCP certification is a plus.

Having research publications is a plus but not required.


Skills and Ability:


Proficiency in laboratory instrument setup, operation and maintenance.

Capable of performing data analysis using statistical tools.

Good analytical skills and detail-oriented.

Self-starter with ability to work independently without close supervision.

Excellent English oral and written communication skills are essential.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power Point etc.).


Physical Demands:


Able to lift < 10 lbs.

Able to sit and stand.
