Our client, a women's manufacturing brand with a focus on Denim + Outerwear, is looking for a strong and creative Associate Designer to join their growing team. This role is on site 4 days a week in their Manhattan offices and offers 1 day work from home flexibility.
Responsibilities
- Sketching and CADing, Denim and Outerwear
- Track and maintain design calendar
- Research trend, fabrics and trims
- Partner with technical design and production teams
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years related experience
- Bachelor s Degree in fashion design preferred
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to take initiative, multi-task and meet deadlines
- Excellent sketching techniques in illustrator
- Understanding of garment construction, silhouettes, sewing techniques, fabrication and trim
- Experience with Denim, outerwear, embellishments, etc.
Salary: $65,000-75,000 Commensurate with experience
