About The Company About The Role **Key responsibilities of this role will include:**

* Perform a pre and post equipment checklist

* Picking for replenishment, customer orders, packaging components etc.

* Load and unload trailers / containers as required

* Maintain focus on safety, accuracy and attention to detail while performing job tasks

* Pick up pallets, products and materials from the warehouse or incoming trailers and move to production / assembly lines or racking storage

* Record the amount of material using computerized scanning equipment to update inventory

* Complete paperwork to keep track of materials moved to lines and products loaded or unloaded from trucks

* Use of machinery to apply shrink wrap and strapping to pallets

* Perform other distribution work functions as required due to business volume and need

* Work on production / assembly lines when required

* Ensure all daily departmental duties are completed in a timely and efficient manner

* Maintain high standards of housekeeping and organisation within the department

About You

* Ability to operate powered, basic material handling equipment, i.e. electric pallet jack, forklift, etc.

* Ability to work on equipment at extended heights

* Availability to work a flexible schedule, with possible overtime when needed

* Strong sense of urgency, attention to detail and flexibility in meeting deadlines

* Organizational and time management skills

* Ability to pass background check and drug test
