Our client is seeking a Team Leader to manage their outside counsel relationships, handling a large volume of law firms and substantial legal spend.
The role
- Manage legal team's relationships with outside counsel
- Experience of working with ALSPs
- Negotiate billing rates, and experience with optimizing legal spend
- Track and analyze outside counsel spend, producing reports for legal team management
Requirements
- 10+ years' experience as a legal operations specialist either with an in-house legal team or private practice law firm. Experience of working with a sizeable legal function (100+ lawyers) is required.
- Working knowledge of legal systems including matter, document and vendor management and e-billing systems.
- Excellent analytical skills, and the ability to present complex information to higher management.
Please note this role is based in Saudi Arabia and would require a full relocation.
