Summary:
The Project Manager will lead the planning, execution, and completion of complex facilities management projects, including building maintenance, facility consolidations, The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities management and Civil engineering projects along with proven project management expertise.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all phases of facilities management projects, from initiation and planning to execution, monitoring, and closure, with a focus on building maintenance and facility consolidation initiatives.
- Develop and maintain project scope, timelines, and budgets for building maintenance, consolidations, and other facilities projects, ensuring adherence to all established parameters.
- Oversee the selection, procurement, and management of vendors and contractors in partnership with Executive Leadership for building maintenance, renovations, and other project needs.
- Ensure all projects comply with relevant building codes, safety standards, and lease agreements.
- Lead and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, facilities staff, internal stakeholders, and external consultants.
- Analyze project and facilities data to identify opportunities for continuous improvement in project delivery, building operations, and cost efficiency.
- Manage project budgets effectively, identifying potential cost overruns and implementing corrective actions.
- Leverage facilities management expertise to ensure projects meet the functional and operational needs of the facilities, optimizing space utilization during consolidations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).with experience in Facility Management.
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in project management, with a strong track record of success in complex facilities management projects, including building maintenance and consolidations.
- Proven ability to develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets for various facilities projects.
- In-depth knowledge of facilities management principles, including building maintenance procedures, space planning, regulatory compliance, and lease administration
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in project management methodologies (e.g., PMP).
- Proficient in the use of Google tools such as Google Workspace and Looker Studio
- Ability to prioritize effectively, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
