We are excited to look for an experienced and enthusiastic Assistant Project Manager with 2+ years of construction experience in the DC Metro. Our Assistant Project Manager will support our Project Manager and collaborate with clients and project teams throughout the project and construction management process. Of particular interest is an APM professional with a proven track record working on site construction projects, ideally will have some field experience and/or heavy civil internship experience.Disclaimer: The following description has been designed to indicate the general nature and essential responsibilities of work performed by employees within this classification. It is not a comprehensive inventory of all duties, responsibilities, and qualifications required.Responsibilities:Assist current Project Manager with task including but not limited to:Compiling SubmittalsOrdering and Scheduling Materials from VendorsCompiling Safety DocumentsAttending Pre-Bid MeetingsAttending Pre-Construction MeetingsObtain bids from subcontractorsManage subcontractorsManage and evaluate production and budgetsCoordinate Miss Utility RequestsDraft billing sheets and AIAs based on schedule of values Manage Small, Short Duration Site Package jobs when needed.Coordinate with CustomerComplete Daily PaperworkSchedule Crews and Preloads for Next DayComplete Invoice Billing SheetsDraft change ordersRequired Qualifications: College Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Landscape Architecture, OR 2+ years of Site Construction experience.Ability to communicate at a professional levelAbility to read civil plansExperience performing administrative tasksPrevious experience working with a site excavation company, heavy highway contractor, or commercial general contractor.Experience using Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, Project Management SoftwareCompensation: Competitive Salary + Yearly BonusPaid Holidays and VacationHealth, Vision, and Dental Insurance plus additional voluntary plans401K with company matchCompany phone, computer,Cost covered for all work-related travelMuller Inc is an Equal Opportunity Employer and makes hiring decisions solely on the basis of merit
