**Job Overview:**
Our dishwashing team is the heart of the Food and Beverage operation and helps make it possible for the cooks, servers and managers to do their job. They play a key role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, dish area, receiving and storage areas and ensuring a clean, safe and organized work space for all.
**Responsibilities and Duties:**
* Ensures work areas are kept clean at all times.
* Performs opening and closing responsibilities in a timely and detailed manner.
* Restocks and prepares supplies for shift change or close.
* Washes dishes, glassware and service ware through automatic dish machine following proper procedures.
* Washes cookware and presentation ware following proper procedures.
* Maintains clean and organized shelves for all BOH small wares.
* Organizes and stores all dishes, silverware, glassware, serviceware, cookware and presentation ware in proper locations.
* Maintains dishmachine through proper daily cleaning, set up and breakdown as well as periodic descaling.
* Empties trash as needed throughout kitchen facility.
* Sweeps and cleans floors using correct procedures whenever needed.
* Performs daily, weekly and monthly cleaning projects according to railroad cleaning list.(stainless equipment, walls, floors etc.)
* Assists other team members as needed or when business needs dictate.
* Holds self to a higher standard, being a role model at all times.
* Performs other tasks as directed.
* Works with a high sense of urgency at all times.
* Follows all company safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
* Ensures all state department of health rules and regulations are followed.
**Qualifications/Skills:**
* Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
* Works well as part of a team and on individual tasks.
* Physically able to stand and move during the length of shift; able to bend and kneel through shift; able to lift 20 pounds regularly and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
* Basic written and verbal communication skills.
* Organizational skills.
* High school diploma or GED.
* Able to work days, evenings, holidays and weekends.
**Education and/or Experience:**
* Prefer 1 year work experience. High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
**Language Skills**
* Ability to read and interpret general business document or governmental regulations.
* Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and associates.
**Mathematical Skills:**
* Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divides in all units of measure using whole numbers and decimals.
**Reasoning Ability:**
* Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
