ProspectBlue is seeking a Fulfillment Operations Supervisor for a client in the WIlliamsburg/Toano area! This position is working onsite. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in e-commerce fulfillment, particularly in food distribution and manufacturing. This role focuses on process improvement and talent management to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, IT, or Safety preferred.
- Extensive experience in a distribution environment with progressive responsibilities can be considered in lieu of formal education.
- Proven e-commerce fulfillment experience, especially in food distribution and manufacturing.
Skills:
- Fluency in Spanish is a plus
- Strong leadership and team development abilities.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Proficiency in computer and technology use.
- Ability to interpret and analyze data for business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of 10-12 permanent staff during non-peak periods and up to 50 associates (including temporary staff) during peak seasons.
- Oversee day-to-day warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and shipping products, ensuring efficient staff coordination.
- Drive efficiency and excellence through metrics and process improvements.
- Monitor and enforce adherence to company policies and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
