Aurubis is the leading provider of non-ferrous metals and one of the largest copper recyclers worldwide. This German-based company is known for their commitment to environmental sustainability, diversity, and their employees. With plans to be fully operational in mid-2024, this facility is expected to become a major player in the North American supply chain and a significant employer in the greater Augusta area.
Salary is $110K - $115K based on experience. Straight time overtime pay will also be paid for any hours worked over 45 hours. Excellent Benefits Package. Relocation Assistance Package Provided.

Maintenance Supervisor Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Team Supervisor to join our team. In this role, you will oversee a team of reactive electrical technicians and ensure that they provide timely and effective support to resolve electrical issues. You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the electrical team, scheduling work, and ensuring that all safety protocols are followed.
Maintenance Supervisor Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of reactive electrical technicians and provide guidance and support as needed.
- Develop and implement reactive maintenance plans and schedules, and ensure that issues are resolved in a timely and effective manner.
- Ensure that all work is carried out to the highest quality standards, and that all safety protocols are followed.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that electrical issues are resolved promptly and to the satisfaction of all stakeholders.
- Train and mentor team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Evaluate team members' performance and provide feedback to improve performance.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Stay up to date with industry developments and technologies to improve team performance and efficiency.
Maintenance Supervisor Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in electrical engineering or a related field.
- Prior experience managing a team of electrical technicians or engineers.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and components.
- Understanding of industry standards and regulations related to electrical engineering.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Maintenance Supervisor Education:
- Bachelor s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Experience will be considered in lieu of education.
