Applications Spray Technician


Job Details

As an Applications Spray Technician, you will interact within a Painting Process Laboratory using Paint Application Equipment & Automation tools. You will ensure the safe operation of Applications Spray Equipment and Chemical Handling. You will also verify and maintain the Lab and Equipment according to 5S/Quality Standards and lead customer workflow to ensure the timeline and deliverable success. You will report to Application Team Supervisors and work onsite in Cleveland, OH.

Shift Premium added to salary / NO prior experience necessary; paid training / Physically demanding position

Main Responsibilities:

  • Spray and test samples of paint from production and development
  • Execute the spray experiments using Robotic Equipment
  • Ability to follow all safety protocols and complete assigned safety training
  • Keep the lab clean and performing daily, weekly, and monthly scheduled 5s tasks
  • Data entry into the Application log


Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED required, with chemistry and algebra aptitude preferred; some college chemistry and math are desirable.
  • Ability to understand, record and verbalize detailed information accurately is required; the Applications Tech must be observant and accurate.
