Content Creator

The Content Creator will create faith-filled content for our social media platforms to serve our nearly 40,000,000 subscribers. Crafting ideas for/and producing a variety of assets in promotion of Lakewood, Joel Osteen and related sites.
This position reports directly to the Creative Content Producer.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION
- Create a variety of videos distributed through our digital platforms, including promotional pieces, storytelling and testimonial videos, sermon clips, and announcements
- Overlay photographs with copy and/or graphics
- Produce content relevant to each platform
- Develop new design concepts and graphics for social channels aligned with the overall digital strategy
- Implement new editing technology to maximize efficient social strategies
- Have a fine understanding of both video and audio broadcast levels both in the edit suite and on location.
- Capture content for all Lakewood Services and Conferences
- Other related duties as assigned
MINISTERIAL DUTIESAs an Employee of Lakewood Church, you are a part of an over 60-year legacy of faith. You are responsible for communicating the Church's beliefs and our mission to our congregants, to maintain a lifestyle consistent with the Scriptures, and are required to belong to the Church as part of our faith community.
This will also include:
- Regular attendance at Church services and classes,
- Serving as a Prayer Partner or as a volunteer in any ministry of the Church, and
- Serving our community through local outreaches from time to time when needed by the Church
QUALIFICATIONS - Uncompromised commitment to Lakewood Church's vision, mission, values, and core beliefs
- Demonstrable graphic design and video skills with a strong portfolio
- Proficiency with office software, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Understanding of the various social platform publishing standards and requirements
- Strong communication skills
- Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent teamwork, interpersonal skills, and friendly disposition
- Able to give and receive constructive critique
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE - Minimum of an Associates degree in Fine Art, Design, or a related discipline
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with creative software (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and videography systems (Adobe Premier, Adobe After Effect, Final Cut)
