About Scottsdale Bible Church (SBC):

This position is located at our beautiful Fountain Hills campus on Fountain Hills Blvd and Glenbrook Blvd in Fountain Hills. God has faithfully grown SBC from a humble beginning of 13 people in 1962 to more than 6,500 meeting weekly on four. With plans to start other multi-site campuses in the coming years, we continue to press forward to take the message of Jesus into our communities throughout the Valley!

As the FH Campus Production Manager, you are a vital part of the Team, responsible for carrying on the Vision, Mission and Values of SBC. In this role, you will report to Production Director and are responsible to help provide the highest quality technical experience for our campus classroom and campus event experiences at all campuses.

Your Essential Responsibilities:

In this position, you will:

  • Manage and produce the technical execution of all worship services through oversight of staff and volunteer teams as determined by the Production Director
  • Provide excellent and consistent audio and lighting for Sundays and training for volunteers and oversight for all services in all settings
  • Build and lead the Fountain Hills Production ministry team, technical staff and its disciples as follows: supervise, recruit, train, schedule, evaluate, build relationships, etc.
  • Operate production recording equipment to record messages and special music for various distribution points (i.e., livestream, DVD, CD, etc.), and be familiar with video playback and recording equipment at the various venues
  • Oversee all campus AVL equipment, arrange for repairs as necessary and provide recommendations on any needed upgrades
  • Maintain timely communication with Worship Pastor and Production Directors on all projects
  • Oversee others on production team to set up and break down all needed AVL equipment for services and events
  • Oversee the operation and maintenance of equipment used to amplify, record and display sound and images at live events, such as microphones, video recorders, projectors, lighting, production networks and sound mixing equipment
  • Oversee proper inventories of supplies at campus locations
  • Ensure audio support is always present when needed and consistent with quality control
  • Performs or oversees installation of equipment as needed and directed
  • Responsible for the assigned technical staffing needs of events and maintain timely communication with the leaders of those events
  • Provide assistance at other campuses when needed
  • Responsible for managing the recruitment and training of volunteers for technical staffing needs of events
  • Assures there are updated records on all volunteers, sets up and attends meetings, recommends and develops ongoing utilization of volunteers, and develops a volunteer recognition program

As a Team Leader, you will:
  • Act as a servant leader by training, encouraging, coaching, and developing our Team Member(s)
  • Foster a spirit of trust and of innovation on your team
  • Conduct Road Maps (performance reviews) annually
  • Meet personally in a pre-scheduled one-on-one meeting with each Team Member at least once a month
  • Approve PTO requests, timecards, and expense reports

Education and/or experience:
  • 3+ years of experience in related role
  • 3+ years of experience in church production
  • 3+ years of experience in a management position

This position does not qualify for a telecommuting arrangement.
