Selby Jennings is partnered with a globally recognized high-frequency trading firm looking to grow their financial commodities team. They are seeking a highly-skilled treasury & trade finance specialist that'll support the commodities branch of their business. This individual will primarily be focused on liaising with both internal and external teams (trading desks, counterparties, exchanges, prime brokers, ISOs/RTOs, asset-based/borrowing base lenders) to perform research and analysis on a variety of trading-related matters, including cash management, clearance and settlements. This person must be located in Houston, Chicago, or NYC.
What's needed for this role:
- Direct experience in treasury management, trade finance or related experience
- Previous commodity/structured finance experience required
- Experience with independent system operator (ISO)/regional transmission organization (RTO) products (FTRs, virtuals, etc.) and operations
- Excellent analytical skills and strong attention to detail
- SQL or VBA experience is a plus
