Description

Position Summary:

Under general supervision, this position supports the day to day operations of the swim lesson department. Representatives interact with customers face to face, answering emails and phone calls, returning voicemails, registering clients and managing current customers accounts all while providing excellent customer service.

General Responsibilities:

Administrative Duties:

  • Assist in proactively marketing and expanding swim lesson programs
  • Manage large amounts of incoming calls and emails
  • Generate sales leads to increase enrollment
  • Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives
  • Identify and assess customers' needs to achieve satisfaction
  • Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication
  • Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools
  • Enroll and schedule new and existing students
  • Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies, and lead by example
  • Provide detailed verbal and written account information
  • Develop and maintain a positive relationship with all students, patrons, staff and directors


On Deck Duties:
  • Greet and assist customers
  • Daily attendance of swim instructors and students
  • Supervise swim instructors at times
  • Perform as a swim instructor, if needed
  • Maintain a clean, fun and safe environment for all employees and patrons


Performs other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

Qualifications:

Experience:
  • Customer service experience
  • Experience supervising others
  • Must be or become CPR certified within 30 days of being hired

Working Conditions:

Work is performed in a temperature-controlled office environment and outdoors with potentially inclement weather conditions. Little to no travel required. Position requires regular contact with the public. Must be able to work under pressure, exercise sound judgment, and adhere to deadlines.

FLSA Status:

This classification is non-exempt from FLSA requirements.

Work Schedule:
  • Part-Time or Full Time; Hourly
  • Must be able to accommodate a flexible work schedule that includes early mornings, late evenings, and weekends
  • Pay range: $17.50 - $20.00 per hour
