Senior Helpers is seeking new caregivers to join our team! Whether you have no experience or have done caregiving before, we would love to hear from you. We match your skill level! Senior Helpers will also help provide you with the ability to grow professionally within the care industry by providing learning opportunities and experience. We serve the greater Chicagoland area, so we serve a variety of clients to match you with! We have available shifts now for weekdays, weekends, flex care with our facilities, day shifts, evening shifts, and overnights.
Qualifications
- You must be at least 18 years old (required)
- Have prior caregiving experience (preferred)
- Ability to be reliable, empathetic and flexible (preferred)
- Willingness to learn and adapt (preferred)
- You must have a valid driver's license as well as your own vehicle (required)
Responsibilities - Assist your client with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as assigned including, but not limited to, bathing, dressing, personal care, and physical and emotional support
- Build a positive relationship with your client by taking part in engaging conversations and participating in your clients' favorite hobbies
- Be able to perform light housekeeping, cook, and run errands as needed
- Provide individualized care as detailed in care plan
- Have the ability to remain calm and collected during emergencies
- Be able to communicate with office in regard to any client changes to office
