Overview:

The Director of Federal Delivery oversees the efficient execution of government projects and initiatives, ensuring they align with strategic objectives and meet regulatory standards. They coordinate with various agencies, stakeholders, and contractors to streamline processes, manage budgets, and mitigate risks. Additionally, they provide leadership and guidance to project teams, monitor progress, and communicate updates to key stakeholders, including government officials and the public. Ultimately, this role is crucial in ensuring the successful implementation of federal programs and services.

The role is also a key contributor to growth and will assist with aligning Vaultes to the right accounts and opportunities. They will be responsible for lead identification, qualification, and win strategy development, in addition to assisting through capture and proposal development.

Location:

  • DC metro area strongly preferred. Remote work with travel to DC and other locations as needed.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the USA. Vaultes does not provide visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities:

This role has a wide range of responsibilities including managing delivery, contributing to business development opportunities, and supporting contract management.
  • Develop and implement strategies to ensure the successful delivery of federal projects and programs.
  • Coordinate with government agencies, contractors, and stakeholders to establish project goals, timelines, and budgets.
  • Monitor project progress and performance metrics to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering collaboration and accountability.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Communicate project updates, milestones, and challenges to key stakeholders, including government officials, funding agencies, and the public.
  • Oversee resource allocation, including staffing, funding, and equipment, to support project objectives.
  • Evaluate project outcomes and lessons learned to inform future initiatives and improve delivery processes.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the federal delivery organization.
  • Represent the organization in meetings, conferences, and other forums to promote collaboration and share best practices in project management and delivery.
  • Serve as capture manager; build and execute opportunity win strategy.
  • Collaborate with business development teams to identify potential federal projects and opportunities aligned with organizational capabilities and objectives.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and insights during the proposal development process, including understanding federal procurement regulations and requirements.
  • Participate in pre-proposal meetings, site visits, and industry conferences to network with government officials and stakeholders and gather intelligence on upcoming projects.
  • Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging opportunities to inform business development strategies and prioritize investment areas.
  • Contribute to the development of marketing materials, case studies, and thought leadership content highlighting the organization's track record and expertise in federal project delivery.


Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in an IT or Business related field is preferred
  • 10+ Years of relevant experience

Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Capable of operating a computer and other office productivity machinery, and frequently communicate with co-workers, management, and customers


This is a Full-Time, W2 position.

Corp-to-Corp and 1099 ineligible.
