Selby Jennings Recruitment is partnered with an elite startup Financial Technology platform that provides access to alternative investments for investors, advisors, and institutions. The firms' client base consists of hedge funds, private equity, private credit, and real estate.
The organization is experiencing rapid success and growth, servicing almost $200 billion in assets invested globally. As such, the Alternatives Distribution team is looking to hire a Regional Director, Associate Sales leader for their Western market covering AK, AZ, CA, HI, NV, OR, WA. This position will be fully remote but will require significant travel across the Western territory to meet with investment professionals.
Location: This candidate would ideally be based on the West-coast in the greater Seattle or California areas.
Compensation: $100,000 - $125,000 base + double OTE
Responsibilities:
- Develop client coverage strategies with regional team.
- Use consultative sales to acquire and expand client relationships.
- Master various investment offerings.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to educate and drive adoption.
- Travel within market to meet sales goals.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years in alternative investments, client-facing.
- Bachelor s degree.
- Progress toward CFA/CAIA or MBA preferred.
- Experience with advisors or brokers.
- Successful sales track record.
- Comfortable with formulaic compensation.
- Series 7 and 63 licenses required (obtain within 60 days).
- Willingness to pursue CAIA within 2-3 years.
