Job Title: Spiral Operator
Location: Starke, FL
Shift: 12 hour rotating (6am-6pm and 6pm-6am) or (7am-7pm and 7pm-7am)
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Spiral Operator to join our team in the light industrial sector. The primary responsibility of this role includes the operation and maintenance of spiral machinery, ensuring the highest standards of efficiency and safety. The ideal candidate will possess technical proficiency in machinery operation, a strong understanding of safety protocols, and a commitment to maintaining equipment to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate spiral machinery efficiently and safely, adhering to all operational guidelines and procedures.
  • Perform routine maintenance on spiral equipment to ensure it remains in optimal working condition.
  • Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality and efficiency.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot any mechanical issues, performing minor repairs or coordinating with maintenance teams for more complex issues.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to industry safety standards and company policies.
  • Accurately record data related to machine operation, maintenance activities, and production outputs.
  • Collaborate with other team members and departments to optimize production processes and improve overall efficiency.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Spiral Operator or in a similar role operating industrial machinery.
  • Strong technical skills and understanding of machinery mechanics.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and protocols in an industrial setting.
  • Ability to read and understand operational manuals and technical drawings.
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or training in machinery operation is a plus.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and operate machinery.
  • Manual dexterity and physical strength to handle materials and tools.
  • Work environment may include exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
