Job Title: Unarmed Security Guard
Location: Cleveland
Duties:
- Observation: observe suspicious personnel or personnel behaving inappropriately and showing hostility.
- Monitor potentially unauthorized personnel.
- Assistance: assist Police and personnel with incapacitated patients as needed.
- Customer Service: shall meet and interact with the general public in a manner that promotes a positive image of the VA.
- Shall serve at fixed posts or patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle.
- Shall direct traffic, control parking, and issue courtesy violation notices.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be literate in English to the extent of reading and understanding printed regulation, detailed written orders, training instruction and material.
- Must have the ability to meet and deal with the public in a professional manner.
- Shall be properly licensed by Federal, State, and local authorities.
