Project Manager Water Mitigation

The Position starts with YOU Making the Magic Happen

The Project Manager has an extremely important role within our Mitigation Department. You get to collaborate directly with the client, perform an inspection, explain the process to the client, develop the scope of work, get your approvals for your scope of work. Work with the Job Coordinator s to get the labor and other resources that you need to have perform the work. Update the client at critical points or when something changes.

Oversee tasks related to project, budget, management, task scheduling, and milestone tracking. You will need to be able to strategically plan, develop and implement simultaneous projects daily to achieve customer satisfaction, budget, and timeline. We want to see a timeline of events in an outline.

Production Options

In-house staff typically produce our mitigation projects. However, on larger or complex assignments often we need to use subcontractors, or specialized demolition staff. You will be able to use different labor sources to make sure we have the correct source of labor to perform the tasks needed within the timeline needed for a client.

Develop Schedule / Timeline of Project

It is better to spend time planning out the assignment and making sure that the many factors that can affect the timeline are carefully considered.

Customer Service Communication Documentation Skills

We expect our Project Managers love serving Customers! Everything we do centers around Customer Service, affective communication, documenting what we do and when we do it for our clients.

When we talk to people many times, we have open ended tasks that have not been defined. We need to realize that when talking to clients we must explain how this unknown will affect our timeline and the assignment. Let the customer know why you cannot give a complete answer.

Documentation

If we perform the task or use equipment, we have to have photographs proving it. We expect our Project Managers to memorize conversations in writing after talking to clients, adjusters, suppliers, etc. We must be transparent with the people we serve and to do so with Integrity.

Financial Responsibilities

Budgets, achieving budgets, negotiated with vendors to get best pricing, and cut unnecessary costs from the budget. Carefully reviewed projects regularly to schedule deliverables on schedule and under budget.

Safety and Building Codes

Conducted safety meetings with employees, contractors, and subcontractors while also ensuring adherence to government regulations. Inspect and review projects to check compliance with building and safety codes, and other regulations.
