We hold a prominent position worldwide in tailoring automation solutions, catering to diverse industries in the contemporary market. With our ongoing growth, our clientele base also expands. So, we are looking for a dedicated Field Service Technician for a full-time position, primarily emphasizing the mechanical aspects of our machinery.
The ideal candidate will have a wide range of responsibilities including maintenance, repair, and calibration of field equipment. The successful candidate will be a problem solver who is responsive to customers' needs; up to 75% travel (mostly domestic).
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment at the customer s facility and make the necessary adjustments to bring equipment up to running status
- Resolve service requirements over the phone if possible
- Work with suppliers to resolve technical issues at customer sites
- Travel to both domestic and international customer locations
- Make recommendations to repair/replace only items that require repair/replacement
Qualifications
- 3-6 years of experience in a hands-on mechanical/electrical environment
- Must be able to work in a multi-disciplined engineering environment, often under pressure-filled conditions
- Must have experience in dealing with customers to resolve problems
- The ability to read drawings, reference manuals and assembly systems instruction guides is essential
- Must have experience and be proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
This is a full-time employment position with excellent benefits. Benefits start on the 31st day of employment
Travel bonus:
- Weekday: $50.00 per day for each day when you have worked more than 4 hours at our customer s facility and required to remain over-night.
- Weekend Day: For each working or non-working weekend day, you will receive $150.00 for international and $100.00 for domestic trips. Domestic travel includes Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Costa Rica and the Dominican Republic.
